Who Writes ThePromptEra

ThePromptEra is written by João Schuller, an E-commerce Analyst and Product Owner based in Santa Catarina, Brazil. João has five years of hands-on experience in online retail: product catalog management, marketplace integrations, logistics automation, email marketing, and analytics. He works at the largest flooring and tile retailer in southern Brazil, where he runs product sprints, manages technical alignment with development teams, and has shipped production software using AI agents. ThePromptEra exists because of that work, not despite it.

What We Cover

This blog focuses on a specific intersection: Claude and AI tools applied to the practical reality of e-commerce, digital marketing, and business operations. Topics are selected based on what João tests in his daily work, problems he encounters running real projects, and questions from professionals in similar roles. We do not cover every AI development, only what has direct, demonstrable relevance to working practitioners.

How Content Is Produced

Articles on ThePromptEra are generated by Claude, an AI system developed by Anthropic. The process works as follows: João defines the topic, provides the editorial angle and constraints upfront, and configures the rules the article must follow. Claude generates a structured draft based on those inputs, which then goes through an automated revision cycle that checks factual claims, removes AI writing patterns, enforces external sourcing requirements, and verifies minimum length and quality standards. Articles that pass are published automatically, without a human review step before publication. João reviews and corrects articles after publication when errors are reported (see Corrections below).

Our Standards

Every article must meet the following criteria before publication: (1) A minimum of two external links to authoritative sources within the body, linked in markdown, not just mentioned in text. (2) At least one section containing information or perspective not readily available in the top search results for that topic. (3) No generic AI writing patterns: no rhetorical questions answered in the next sentence, no vague attribution like "experts agree," no filler conclusions. (4) A minimum of 800 words of substantive content. Articles that fail automated checks are either revised or discarded.

First-Person Content

When a topic directly connects to João's professional experience in e-commerce operations, Magento and VTEX platforms, GA4, Snowflake, or prompt engineering applied to retail workflows, articles include first-person observations grounded in specific, real situations. We do not invent case studies or fabricate metrics. If a claim cannot be supported by direct experience or a citable source, it is either framed explicitly as an opinion or removed.

AI Transparency

We believe in being direct about how content is produced. Every article on this site displays a disclosure note stating that it was generated by AI and published automatically, without prior human review. This is an explicit experiment: we believe automated quality checks plus after-the-fact human correction can be a legitimate, transparent way to publish, as long as we are honest that it is what is happening. Hiding the process would be dishonest.

Corrections

If you find a factual error, an outdated claim, or a broken link, please contact us at joaovictor.cidade@gmail.com. We correct errors as they are identified and note substantive corrections at the end of the affected article.

Affiliate and Sponsored Content

ThePromptEra does not currently publish sponsored posts or affiliate content. Tool recommendations reflect tools João actually uses. If this changes, sponsored content will be clearly labeled.
