ThePromptEra ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a visitor.

Data We Collect

We collect anonymized usage data through Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our content. This includes pages visited, time on page, and general geographic region. Reading articles does not require any personal data. If you create an account for the course area (login, signup), we collect your name, email address, and password via Supabase, our authentication and database provider. If you purchase the course, our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) sends us your email, order ID, and order status to grant access. Course progress and any comments you post are stored against your account. We do not sell this data.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies (including DoubleClick cookies) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at g.co/adsettings or www.aboutads.info. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to our site. We do not control the content of these ads or the data practices of Google's advertising network.

This site uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics 4) and advertising (Google AdSense / DoubleClick). AI-Assisted Content Production

Articles on ThePromptEra are generated by Claude, an AI system developed by Anthropic. The author (João Schuller) provides the topic direction and editorial guidelines upfront; articles are published automatically after passing automated checks, without a pre-publication human review step (see our Editorial Policy for details). No personal visitor data is shared with Anthropic in this process. Content generation uses only the author's professional knowledge and publicly available information as inputs.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default retention settings (14 months). Account data (name, email, course progress, comments) is stored in Supabase, our database provider, for as long as your account exists; you can request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold. Since we rely on Google for analytics and advertising, you may also exercise your rights directly through Google's privacy tools at myaccount.google.com.

Brazilian Users — LGPD

If you are located in Brazil, you have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD — Law 13.709/2018), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to revoke consent at any time. Since we rely on Google for analytics and advertising, most data is processed by Google under their own terms. To exercise your LGPD rights directly with us, contact joaovictor.cidade@gmail.com. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
